Please take a few minutes and nominate individuals whom you feel are qualified for any one of the many GAHPERD awards. Download the 2010 Award Nomination Form and fill in the information required and GAHPERD will send them a personal letter inviting them to apply.

* If you are nominating someone, please include the nominees home address since the packet will most likely be sent during the summer and they may not receive at their school!

Welcome to the GAHPERD Awards and Grants page. Please read the "Instructions and Deadlines" form before proceding with the application process. For all Awards, the committee may, at their discretion, not present an award during a given year.

The links to NASPE Elementary, Middle and Secondary Awards and Adapted Teacher of the Year Award take you to the AAHPERD website where interactive applications appear. Download the application form to your computer for completion and/or future editing. Then, submit a hard copy of the application by August 7, 2009, to be eligible for consideration.
