GAHPERD’s General Division seeks to facilitate professional growth and educational practices among the sections of the division. The General Division Sections include: College/University, Future Professionals, NAGWS/Men’s Athletics, Recreation, and Exercise Science. There are many unique and pressing challenges facing professionals serving in these fields. Through workshops and forums, the General Division strives to increase awareness, involvement, communication, and educational opportunities that will encourage the development of competent professionals that are prepared for the 21st century.
